No president before him signed several decrees such as Donald Trump: hard immigration policy, education discounts, controversial amnesty, cancellation of state authorities – the list includes more than 140 decrees. However, many projects were banned by the judiciary, for example, to abolish the law of birth on the nationality of the American state or sharp cuts in the state apparatus. Critics also accuse its boss of drowning the global economy in the event of uncertainty through its changing and foreign habits.
Trump spoils the separation of power.
According to Muller, this has become possible due to the weakness of the opposition and the absence of a control function by the Senate. The latter indicates that the president is doing something clearly illegal as his back and a dedication to the long funds approved. Muller said that Trump has long turned the Republican Party into the worship of personality and does not tolerate a contradiction.
The opposition in the shock is rigid
The opposition Democrats on their part slowly woke up from the solid shock in the first few months after Trump took office. However, they are still refusing to prevent their policies completely, according to Professor Princeton’s analysis. However, he realizes that many Trump voters are very disappointed by his office and that the mood in the country is changing to the president.
As an ARD reports, Trump’s approval values are about 39 percent. This is missing from eleven percentage points since the elections and perhaps the worst value achieved by the president after 100 days. Especially among young voters and Americans of Spanish origin, who often gave them their voice in 2024, shows increasing disappointment.

The way the US President mentions his office, the political scientist Muller mentions more than Trump’s time as a businessman: “I do something illegal and I can know if the other side will go to the court.” The president is increasingly acting like a “mix of mafia and fatwa trainer at school”, which is not concerned with what others think.
For Müller, the turning point has not yet been reached, but if more people demonstrate against the government, the additional rulings against Trump’s plans have decreased and Democrats will be more opposite, the situation may change significantly next year.
