Young people lay the foundations for a successful economy

Somogy’s economy can only be successful if there is a suitable workforce, if young people want to use their knowledge here as well. This will ensure not only the future of the settlements, but also the Somoji district – he emphasized in connection with the program. Gabor Hozti, Vice President of the Somoji District Association.

Spatial development resources serve this purpose as well, but in addition to successful investments, there has sometimes been a shortage of skilled labor. – We have also tried to help in this area, and we have taken all available opportunities, including wage subsidies and training courses, so that as many Somogy people as possible can get a job. In the current EU financial cycle, we have been able to spend nearly two billion forints on employment cooperation in five years, during which we have been able to establish meaningful relationships with economic actors. I would like to maintain and develop cooperation, to involve more and more partners. In the following, employment may continue to develop in Somogy County from HUF 3.5 billion. The primary goal remains to expand business opportunities and help small and medium businesses in Somogy.
