In addition to the global launch of the 13 Series phones, Xiaomi also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) glasses.

Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass is a conceptual wireless smart glasses. It can be connected to a T-phone or other device and provides an immersive AR experience without any wires or dongles. Xiaomi AR glasses do not have built-in storage, so they must be connected to a “host” to function.

The glasses contain two Micro OLED screens with a free-form optical guide prism unit that projects content into the eye. The glasses feature a maximum illumination of 1,200 lumens per eye. Xiaomi has also included three camera modules that are used to map the user’s environment. The headset has a magnesium-lithium alloy body, is equipped with carbon fiber elements, and weighs 126 grams.

Like the Meta Quest Pro, the Xiaomi Wireless AR Glass is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 + Gen 1 platform and supports the Snapdragon Spaces XR development platform. Xiaomi has also developed its own AR Gesture Controller with spatial sensing for precise control and operation.

The device has a response time of just 50ms with a smartphone paired, which Xiaomi claims is the same as a traditional wired AR/VR headset.
