A wreath was laid over the Kindergarten Mándok

Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving were held in Mandok to mark the construction of the refurbished Mándok Starflag Kindergarten and Nursery at its highest level. According to an old tradition to celebrate this, a wreath was placed on the roof of the building.

In service d. Karoly Feketi, Bishop of the Trans Tissa Diocese, said 23 kindergartens in the Reformed Trans Tissa Diocese will be renovated or built in the Reformed Church’s kindergarten program. Two of these have been purchased by the church from the municipalities, several institutions have already been handed over, and the rest are under construction or in the planning stage. The kindergarten in Mándok will be built of about 470 million forints and is expected to be occupied by children next September.

“We don’t usually have Thanksgiving service on Tuesdays at 11 a.m.,” Dr. Karoly Feketi, Bishop of the Reformed Diocese of Trans Tissa.

– However, in these minutes we celebrate the fact that the reformed kindergarten in Mándok is visibly being built, reaching its highest levels. As I was preparing for the occasion, Psalm 84 came into my hand. I know by heart, but I just found a seemingly insignificant sentence in the Psalm that is very important to us here now. That is, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow also has its nest, to lay its young on its altars. This is very appropriate for this day as we celebrate the building of our chapel branches today.

“We all have our own homes, but we want to take our sons and daughters to God’s house.” Our children are most vulnerable to life between the ages of 3 and 6 years. What enters their souls after that lasts forever and often returns in adulthood. However, what we fail to offer them at this time is almost irreplaceable later on. Kindergarteners, if they come across the street with kindergarten teachers to pray in church, prepare for a feast, a service, they can experience that their souls find a home in the house of God. Our falling tears, our overflowing joy. And this place is the church of our church. In a few months we will open a new sacred place in the kindergarten where the souls of our children find a home.

They help the church

Zsolt Kozma, patron of the reformed Mándok complex, said that the reformed Mándok Csillagvirág kindergarten would be built on the site of the former reformed school.

– A few years ago, we had the opportunity to apply for the construction of a new institution in the framework of the reformed kindergarten program – Zsolt Kozma. – We won nearly 470 million forints. Of these, three kindergartens, one small nursery room with a gym, salt room, laundry, kitchen, indoor playground, tank garden and ample parking will be built. We hope to have the little things in the building next September. According to our plans, the nursery will be able to accommodate seventy children and the small nursery for seven children.

“I am very happy to have built a new kindergarten on the site of the building, which has not been used for a long time,” Mándok Mayor László Pekó told us. – I consider all development and construction a way to prosper our city. The management of the settlement also feels that the kindergarten under construction is their own, and he has helped us work so far.
At Mándok’s festive celebration, a wreath was painted on the roof of the building by two Presbyterians, Zoltán Juhász and Jakab Bertalan.
