Washington and Moscow agree on one thing: the need for a new world order

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Monday that the Kremlin agrees with US President Joe Biden’s statement that the world needs a new order, but this world will no longer revolve around the United States.

We completely agree with Mr. Biden. This is the rare case in which we completely agree with what he said. The world really needs a new world order based on completely different principles

– said Peskov.

But according to the spokesman, Moscow does not agree with Joe Biden’s statement that the United States of America is capable of building such a system.

Because the United States, no matter what system you talk about, is thinking about a system centered around the United States. That is, to a world revolving around the United States. This will no longer be the case

– says the Kremlin spokesman.

According to Peskov, Moscow’s position is that there should be a world order based on international law, mutual respect, mutual benefit and non-interference in each other’s internal affairs. He said that this system must be free from attempts to concentrate all oversight mechanisms in the hands of one country and from imposing the will and decisions of some on other countries.
