TransferGo and Mastercard money transfer services are also becoming available in Hungary

TransferGo and Mastercard today announced a partnership that allows customers in 20 European countries to send money in real time from any card or bank account directly to a Mastercard debit or credit card.

With the Mastercard Send ™ service, TransferGo customers can transfer money to Mastercard in real time in the following European countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia and Slovakia Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom. Payment can be made from any card or bank account directly to a Mastercard in that country, ensuring an easy, fast and convenient money transfer experience.

Those who want to initiate international transfers can do so completely safely with the new service, as both Mastercard and TransferGo use the best security standards. As an authorized payment institution in the UK, TransferGo meets very strict security standards, including the security of personal and financial information and SSL encryption between its servers and individual browsers. Mastercard’s premium solutions provide additional security in managing organizational, financial, and fraud risks.

The service simplifies everyday payments by eliminating the need to search for data that isn’t always easy to find – such as a customer’s international bank account number (IBAN). In just two months (Sep-Oct), TransferGo doubled the number of transactions sent directly to recipient’s card in Ukraine and Russia.
