This year, 54 companies applied for the Business Ethics Award in three categories – small, medium and large – and ten companies received recognition – the award’s founders informed MTI on Friday.
According to the announcement, this year 17 applications received the same high score from the 42-member jury, by one point each.
Three companies won in the SME category – Cudy Future Kft., Futár.hu Logisztikai Kft., Info Sierra Kft., BEPATECH Kft., Prolan Zrt., and Techniq 2000 Kft. – And four companies in the small and medium enterprises category. Large Company Category: ALTEO Plc., Buttner kft in nagyatadand MagNet Bank Magyar Közösségi Bank Zrt. and Civita Group Nyrt.
140 companies have already joined the list of award-winning companies – including new award-winning companies – they wrote in the announcement.
The Business Ethics Prize was founded 24 years ago by Professor Ervin Laszlo, President of the Budapest Club, and Maria Demczak, founding editor-in-chief of the business magazine Piac&Profit. Their goal is to draw attention to and recognize companies that engage in fair, exemplary and responsible business conduct. They said the award is valid for life and can only be revoked by the founders.
