This is how SsangYong is slowly absorbed

Already at the beginning of the year, it was announced that SsangYong will adopt the name KG Mobility, and the car brand will also change accordingly. But now we can see for the first time what the new image invented for the KG brand looks like. The first type presented in revised form is Tivoli. The type introduced in 2015 is undergoing a major update: first of all, a new nose part with striking, simpler and more schematic features than before and a large trapezoidal lower air intake. What’s really surprising, though, is that no branding or badge can be seen on the new model, only the Tivoli model name can be seen all over.

So far, the KG Mobility Tivoli has only been offered in South Korea, where it is available with two types of petrol engines, a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 126 horsepower, and a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with 163 horsepower. engine. Both engines are offered with a six-speed automatic transmission, with either front- or all-wheel drive.

Of course, it is difficult to imagine that the former SsangYong would continue his international career without a brand: this is likely to be a kind of temporary situation, until a new badge, also applicable at the international level, or even a new brand, is invented.
