Samsung is absolutely at the forefront when it comes to regularity of updates and length of software support. For flagship models, foldable smartphones and select mid-range devices, the company offers up to 4 major Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates. Which manufacturer models can get Android 14 with One UI 6 update has now been leaked.
Importantly, this list is not complete and Samsung has yet to confirm the information. So here is the list of smartphones that can and should get the update. The first models that may come with Android 14 may be the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5 phones that debuted in July.
List of Samsung smartphones expected to receive the Android 14 update:
Galaxy S series
- Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra
- Galaxy S21 FE
- Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra
folding models
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Flip 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Flip 3
Galaxy A series
- Galaxy A73
- Galaxy A72
- Galaxy A53
- Gakaxy A52 (all versions)
- Galaxy A33
- Galaxy A23

- Galaxy A13
- Galaxy A04s
Galaxy M series
- Galaxy M53
- Galaxy M33
- Galaxy M23
Tablets
- Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8+, Tab S8 Ultra
This list may not be complete. The biggest surprise for us is the absence of two new mid-range products in the list – Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34. Don’t worry, these models will definitely get Android 14, 15, 16 and 17.
Android 14 beta is now available
Android 14 is already available to users in beta. If you have a supported Pixel device, you can try it out. The official launch of the system is expected sometime in late summer/early fall, along with the new Google Pixel 8 smartphones. One UI 6 could also be introduced sometime during this period, possibly in the fall.
Currently, the latest is One UI 5.1, which was released with the Samsung Galaxy S23 series of smartphones. The manufacturer is currently updating its models to this version, and quite quickly, since all the really important ones have already been updated.
