The President of the Republic of Serbia must take a decision on this proposal.
The Serbian government took the initiative to dissolve Parliament and call for early elections during its meeting held on Monday.
The proposal has been submitted to the President of the Republic of Serbia, who has the right to dissolve the House of Representatives.
Holding parliamentary elections under the current circumstances would ensure a higher degree of democracy, reduce tensions between different actors in society, make exclusivity and hate speech impossible, and enhance the right to freedom of expression of opinion on certain political, economic and other issues, including Promoting European values
