The new Samsung Z Fold 6 will be more powerful than ever

Now the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be launched soon, and as usual, rumors, data and leaked images about the new device are arriving more and more. The latest rumors this time relate to the possible design of the phone and reveal details about its performance.

A newer version of the Samsung Galaxy Flip is also available.

First, MySmartPrice spotted the Geekbench listing for the Z Fold 6, which lists the US version and mentions a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Android 14, and 12GB of RAM. These are of course the expected specifications and are all in line with the previous Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 benchmark, but the newer benchmark scores higher.

Here, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 achieved a single-core score of 2,257 and a multi-core score of 6,903. This is compared to the 1,964 and 6,6619 single-core and multi-core scores achieved in the previous test, so this is a big jump.

Since the devices listed are the same, it is assumed that the differences are either because the phone is closer to the release (and therefore already has a more optimized system) or just because the benchmark results can vary from one test to another. Either way, these are promising results.

Better than the best current Samsung mobile

In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 earned an average single-core score of 1,940 and a multi-core score of 5,119 on Geekbench, so the upcoming model is – as expected – well ahead of its predecessor. In fact, in these latest scores, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 beats the average scores of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (2160 and 6746).

In addition to the benchmarks, we also saw images showing what appear to be fake versions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6. These 9to5Google It's been shared, but since both phones have already leaked extensively at this point, the images don't show much that we haven't seen before.
