The Hungarian volleyball player's trip to Canada ended in the semifinals

Balázs Farkas failed to achieve another milestone, so he had to say goodbye to the semi-finals of the Wall Ball Championship in Calgary with a prize pool of $78,000 and a silver ranking.

PSA World Tour, Calgary, Semi-Final:
Diego Elias (Peru, 1st) – Balazs Farkas 3-0 (2, 3, 3)

According to the Hungarian Federation, the Hungarian player No. 53 in the world rankings, who reached the semi-finals of the PSA World Tour Championship for the first time in his career, ranks first among the top four, and is ranked third in the world. He met Diego Elias from Peru and this time he couldn't cover the paper form anymore.

“Becoming third in the world was on another level. I tried to keep the ball so there would be longer passes, but Diego didn't give me a second of rest, he kept attacking.” – said the best Hungarian player, who also evaluated his performance in the competition. – My week here in Canada has been a miracle, I am very satisfied and I hope this level continues in the upcoming races. “I'm full of confidence for the rest of the season.”

Balázs Farkas has achieved several impressive victories this week, thanks to which he is expected to significantly improve his ranking in the world rankings next week.
