The Greek Catholic Foundation in Debrecen has been enriched with a multifunctional sports field


Debrecen – The former educational center of MÁV located on Faraktár Street was introduced to Roman Catholics two years ago, and has been continuously developed since then.


In place of the outdated sports stadium, a multifunctional sports stadium will be built in the courtyard of the Hajdorog Metropolitan Church on Farakter Street, Debrecen.

The Diocese received the former educational center of the MÁV on Farrakter Street two years ago free of charge from the state to carry out its public educational tasks, and since then improvements have continued. Several member institutions of the Szent Bazil Greek-Catholic Kindergarten, Elementary School, Secondary School, Technical School, Vocational School, Skills Development School and College are already operating there, and students with special needs are trained on the property. They are interested in the education of children for whom a panel of experts recommended their own education; In practice, it concerns people with autism.

According to the results sheet published in the Public Procurement Bulletin, Globál Sport Kft. from Debrecen for the job with a net bid of HUF 82.7 million. The task includes demolishing the old track, building the new track, and creating a running circuit.

There will be a mesh fence for catching the ball, four poles with spotlights, and thanks to the equipment, various team sports can be played on the playground, which will be covered with paving stones, and a pier will also be built.
