Saturday Night Fever was a hit on RTL until 2014, and the show ran for five seasons, during which time Tamas Narai designed the costumes for the production and was also the channel's artistic advisor. He worked at RTL for years, and tended to talk about it only briefly, but he has since explained that although the period brought him national fame, it did not benefit his fashion brand. Narai believes that in people's minds, fashion designer Narai and costume designer Narai, who designed all the bright, shiny clothes for big shows, were not separated in people's minds, and commentators criticized him sharply.
In addition, as it turned out, his colleagues did not treat him with gloves either, which led to his withdrawal from the media. “It was a terrible journey that led me to learn to say no. That was in December 2014 (Then the fifth season of X-Faktor aired – Editor.)Then there was the main rehearsal for the show I was working on, and I got into a conflict situation to the point where they yelled at me. “I thought this was the moment I would say no, I took a deep breath, went to the dressing room, packed my bags and never crossed the threshold again,” said Tamas Narai of WMN and VIASAT3, Ki vele! In his presentation.
He added that at the same time the show did not let him down, his colleagues continued the tasks, but he himself has not gone to any show since then. In fact, by his account, he was bloodied when he said no. He also maintains a closed Facebook group so that only those interested in his work – books and paintings – can see news about it.
