Sebastian, son of Juan Pablo Montoya, a seven-time Formula 1 winner, will compete again in Formula 4 this year in Prima. The news was announced by the Italian team on their social media platforms.
Montoya Jr. began his automotive career last season in the Italian and German Formula 4 seasons after a successful spell of small racing cars. Last season he was considered youthful experience in Colombia and yet he managed to appear in some races. His best result was the 5th place.
“I’m really excited to be able to race with the Prima team in Formula 4 again this year,” Montoya breath. “Last season, the team did everything I could to learn smoothly and get used to things as quickly as possible. I look forward to what we will be able to do in the second after our first year together.”
Team leader Angelo Ruissen also made a statement regarding the announcement.
“We are excited to be able to work with Sebastian in 2021 as well. Last year was not the easiest year for a beginner, but he has done a great job and I look forward to further development this season. Our preparations for this year are progressing well and I hope the new season starts sooner. Available time “.
