Scientists also do not fully understand: these 13 things are characteristic of people born in the spring

Spring is a time of awakening, renaissance, youth and prosperity. It is no coincidence that children born at this time are special, and this is not the whim of a parent, grandmother or astrologer, but a serious conclusion confirmed by science and statistics.

Of course, this does not mean that children born in other seasons do not have their own unique characteristics. However, as we are on the cusp of spring, we cannot help but turn our attention to the spring babies born from March to May, whose characteristics are very different from the rest.

People born in spring are able to be annoyingly happy despite all the external problems. This is also scientifically proven. Scientists measure the level of happiness with the hyperthymic scale – the ability to perceive everything that happens with a positive attitude. Therefore, this level is highest for those born in the spring.

This trait is probably related to innate optimism. According to British researchers, people born in May are more likely to define themselves as lucky. Unfortunately, luck cannot be measured using the scientific method. But whoever thinks he is lucky is probably so.

Astrology links spring with creativity. But even without referring to the horoscope, statistics show that children born in the so-called “rainy” months (March, April, May) will most often become scientists, artists or representatives of other creative professions.

Leading species

Leadership qualities are especially evident in children of March and April. They become leaders more often than others. In contrast, children born in June and July have a lower chance of becoming leaders, despite their potential. By the way, the statistics here agree with astrology – Aries are born in March-April, and the zodiac signs always endow them with bright leadership qualities.

They rarely develop allergies

Spring babies suffer from allergies, asthma and eczema less than everyone else. Babies born in the fall are most susceptible to allergies. Scientists from the University of Southampton discovered this by examining the DNA markers of babies born at different times of the year.

They rarely catch a cold

This only applies to babies born in May, as they have the least chance of developing complications from respiratory infections. Interestingly, acute respiratory viral infections usually bypass them completely, and children in the spring catch colds less often than everyone else. Scientists still don't understand why.

Healthy nerves

Children born in March and April suffer from the rarest neurological disorders. March children are especially strong in this regard. Scientists do not yet fully understand how this is related to the season, but they are certain that it has to do with the influence of the environment during development in the womb and in the first months after birth.

The risk of developing ADHD is low

American researchers found that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is relatively rare in children in the spring. ADHD often develops in children born in November. However, this is consistent with the fact that spring children suffer less from diseases of the nervous system.

Good vision

It turns out that spring children are less likely to develop myopia than others. Of course, the development of the disease has many factors, including genetic factors. But there is nothing to argue with statistics – summer children are myopic more often, and spring children are more fortunate.

Stable psychologically

Their nerves are sound, their happiness level is high – it's no wonder spring children rarely suffer from mental problems. On the other hand, children born in winter are diagnosed with psychological disorders more than others. Scientists explain this by lack of sunlight in early childhood.

Night owls

Some are early risers and others are night owls. Spring babies are among the latter. They fall asleep later, as this is their natural biological rhythm. By the way, this also applies to summer babies. However, spring babies differ from them in that they are incredibly able to synchronize their biological rhythms in the morning, and like true Spartans, getting up early is not a problem for them.

They grow better

Austrian anthropologist Gerhard Weber found that children born in the spring become taller than children born in the winter and fall. He came to such conclusions while studying conscripts for the Austrian army. The scientist linked this phenomenon to the fact that spring babies receive more sunlight during their most intense period of development.

They will be happier mothers

Optimists are not only the children themselves, but also their mothers. Researchers from Boston University found that spring births are less likely to cause postpartum depression in mothers. Statistically, this condition affects 10-15 percent of new mothers and is more common among women who give birth in the summer and fall.
