Redmi Note 11T Pro, Note 11T Pro + and Note 11 SE are official

Three new Redmi smartphones made their debut, namely Note 11T Pro, Note 11T Pro + and Note 11 SE. Large screen, high-end MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset and 64MP rear camera, the latter boasts an affordable mid-range device with a Dimensity 700 processor.

Redmi Note 11T Pro and Pro +

Both phones feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display featuring Full HD+ resolution and a variable image refresh rate of 144Hz. The screen can be scaled down to 30Hz depending on the content, so phones will be able to run more energy efficient. Below the top bezel of the display is the 16MP front camera, while the 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 serves as the primary capture unit on the back. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 2-megapixel macro module are also installed next to the main sensor.

Under the new features, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, depending on your choice. Both smartphones run on the MIUI 13 software built on Android 12.

Then how is the Redmi Note 11T Pro different from the Pro +? Devices differ in battery capacity and charging speed. The Note 11T Pro has a larger 5080mAh dual-cell battery that supports 67W of fast charging. In the case of the Pro + model, a smaller 4,400mAh battery, as well as a two-cell battery, provide power, while this hub can be charged up to 120W. The manufacturer promises to fully charge the battery in just 19 minutes thanks to the technology used, and the Surge P1 chip will monitor the temperature to ensure the safety of the operation.

The new Redmi Note 11T Pro and Pro + mobile phones have an IP53-compliant waterproof cover and a fingerprint reader on their side frames. The devices will be available in silver, blue and black colors, but there will also be a limited edition Astro Boy of the Note 11T Pro+ model with manga engraving on the back. The 6/128GB version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro will be available for only $270 in local money, while the 8/256GB version will cost the equivalent of $330 yuan.

The cheapest version of the Redmi Note 11T Pro+, which offers an 8/128 GB configuration, will be available for $315 in CNY, and $375 of local money will be scrapped for the 8/512 GB model. The Astro Boy version will be available in an 8/512GB configuration and will also be available for $375. The smartphones will be available from May 31, of course, so far only in China, and there has been no international distribution.

Redmi Note 11 SE

The Redmi Note 11 SE is a much cheaper offering, but – at least on paper – it offers very fair features. The screen is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel, with a resolution of Full HD +, fortunately not listed below, and even the image refresh rate is up to 90 Hz, which is very commendable. Streamlined inside the smartphone, the MediaTek Dimensity 700 is a just right mid-range iron, with 4 or 8 GB of RAM depending on the configuration chosen, and 128 GB of fixed internal storage.

The software may be a little newer, for example, Android 11 and MIUI 12 will welcome new owners after the first launch. Inside the device, a 5000mAh battery provides power to the hardware components, and the battery can be charged with 18W inverters. The Redmi Note 11 SE will be available in black and dark blue colors, the 4/128 GB base model will fetch only $165 worth of local currency, and the 8/128 GB configuration will be available for $210, or the equivalent in yuan. Distribution will begin on May 31, also in China. Global sales were not mentioned this time.
