The entrepreneurship skills development event aims to bring together 400 workshops from Central and Eastern Europe to help reduce the negative effects of the economic crisis caused by Covid-19.

The second phase of the program runs from May to July 2022, and all program events will be free for participants. The event consists of several phases – Idea Hacking, Hackathon and Pre-accelerator (The Idea Hack helps participants form their ideas, while the Hackathon is a 48-hour main event that ends with a presentation before the judging panel. The last module is an eight-week pre-accelerator). Which helps participants develop an entrepreneurial mindset, learn business fundamentals and build a network of peers and mentors.

Over 330 people from 31 countries have applied for JUMP for CEE Phase I, with 170 participants from Central and Eastern Europe and beyond taking part in the event. Through the program, an international network of mentors and experts helped build 17 teams that developed business ideas in a variety of industries and sectors, such as education, cybersecurity, payment, travel, agriculture, sports and mobility. An outstanding team received an investment from Startup Wise Guys and was invited to the regular accelerator program. After the unit, many participants will find their future in business.

Jump for CEE participants do not need to have a business or even a business plan to apply to the program. Any individual or team from Central and Eastern Europe, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Romania or anywhere else with confident knowledge of English and interest in the digital world can apply.
