Pfizer Gyógyszerkereskedelmi Kft said that the quantity of the coronavirus vaccine that Pfizer has supplied to Hungary is close to one and a half million.

It was written that on Tuesday, another 165,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine arrived in Hungary, and this is the fifteenth shipment in Hungary of a vaccine called Comirnaty developed by the two companies.

They stressed that “Pfizer has been providing its reliable weekly schedule of COVID-19 vaccine to Hungary for more than two months, with more than 690,000 doses of the vaccine in March alone, helping local defense.”

It is recalled that this vaccine is the first in the European Union to obtain a conditional marketing authorization for the active immunization of a population of 16 years or older.

The first shipment arrived in Hungary on December 26, 2020, and since then vaccines have been arriving weekly to help fight the coronavirus.

According to the announcement, the two companies focused on strengthening and expanding their manufacturing capabilities earlier this year, with the aim of producing and shipping more than two billion doses of the vaccine worldwide this year to meet the growing global demand.

In the case of Hungary, the total amount of the vaccine conducted for the first quarter has been reliably delivered by Pfizer, and from the second quarter of 2021 it will significantly increase the number of doses delivered to the country, according to the announcement.
