It's been a long time since news of Xiaomi's vertically foldable phone has surfaced. I'm not saying it's time for the Xiaomi Mix Flip to arrive, but if it does, it will definitely be a flagship phone. According to rumours, it will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The name Xiaomi Mix Flip has been on the public's mind for a year, and we also wrote about it in January last year. But then the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 appeared in the news at the time. The next time his name appeared again was in September last year, but I can already see it in the IMEI database. Since then, it has been quiet, until today.

Perhaps the Xiaomi Mix Flip SD 8 Gen 3 this year will come with the processor

According to a Weibo blogger, you can expect a thin and light foldable phone from Xiaomi, and not just any processor. It will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and will be able to make phone calls not only via the GSM network, but also via satellite. Which would be an interesting move from the company, because so far the competition has only added emergency messaging to its new phones. But why should Mix Flip be first? This is a good question.

The year-long problem may have been due to technological flaws, but now that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is almost perfect for folding the screen. A mini version of this can be found at Flip. Its casing has become fashionable since then and can be angular and sharp, as we are used to with the main line, so the screen will not be rounded as well. Another interesting thing is that the fingerprint reader can be placed on the power button, so that it can be unlocked both when it is closed and when it is unlocked. It's going to be interesting, and I'm looking forward to it, also because of the size of it.
