True to its name, Baby Robot Games may soon launch an amateur job through Raw Fury.
According to the game’s Steam page, Ereban: Shadow Legacy will be a fast-paced platformer where we can control Ayana, the last descendant of a forgotten race. We will be armed with mysterious shadow powers, and high-tech gadgets, trying to either eliminate our opponents or turn away from them to discover our past, thus saving a morally dying gray world.
Thanks to the ability of Shadow Merge, we can combine shadow and stealth (although this is called unique, for some reason reminded us of the 2013 Contrast competition from Compulsion games…). Back in the shadows, we can move freely, so we can climb walls, reach previously inaccessible places, attack from cover, or we can go ahead and remain invisible. By absorbing echoes, we can also gain more deadly and non-dangerous shadow powers, we can craft tools and, with our agility, we can get into Helios to see what you’re hiding.
So we can stay in the shadows or get killed. We can leave someone alive or we can consume them, the decision is up to us, it is just a matter of how far we go to reveal the truth. We can handle every level in our own style of play. We can use our power to travel as a ghost, or we can strike the sci-fi world as a killer shadow; Actions transcend the pair of good and evil.
As the last descendant of the Erebans, we need to know who we are and what happened to the people. We can travel through the ruins of lifeless cities, discover sci-fi structures carved into ancient temples, and even discover the legacy of forgotten species. Helios will be a mysterious energy giant that is said to have solved the energy crisis.
Ereban: Shadow Legacy will be released sometime in the first half of 2023 for Xbox Series, PC (steam) or Xbox One. It was also proven that the game will be available through (Xbox) Game Pass. There likely won’t be a PlayStation script coming out of the game anytime soon.
