It’s now official that Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian’s friend and Ye rival, Saturday Night Live, will be going into space as Blue Origin, led by Jeff Bezos, announced Monday that the comedian will be participating in the Space Company’s fourth competition, currently in March. Decision 23 L.
Davidson Michael Strahan joins William Shatner and aviation pioneer Wally FunkAs the latest celebrity civilian astronaut to get space on a New Shepard rocket to help build hype around Bezos’ space tourism project.
In addition to Davidson, the trip will feature investor Marty Allen and former CEO of Party America, real estate agent Mark Hagel and his wife Sharon Hagley, who founded Space Kids Global.
Also on board will be Dr. George Nield, former deputy director in the FAA’s Office of Commercial Aviation and contractor Jim Kitchen.
