NICS-HSÚVC won the Shark Award

In Szeged, the national shark swimming championship was organized at the Tiszavirág Sport Swimming Pool, hosted by HAÁSZ SZUE. Boys born in 2010-11 and girls born in 2011-12 competed in the shark race, a total of 295 swimmers from 68 societies jumped into the water during the competition.

NICS-HSUVC topped the shark medal table with a total of 22 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze medals. Marcel Szabo had a big role in this, winning a total of 9 national championship titles, and Oliver Nagy was in the top spot of four numbers.

– Taking into account the ranking times throughout the year, we had the chance to win several times, but the Hungarian champion is the one who gives the best performance in the Hungarian championship. Szabó Marcell also swam the highest national level in his age group at the end of last year. We managed to win a total of seven out of eight relays, and the boys’ 400th relay was an added pleasure for me, as we were able to set a new national record – summed up by Zoltan Bako, coach of NICS-HSÚVC.
