Netflix removes subscriber filter from a package

He started his plan which he announced a few months ago. application Netflix has launched its cheapest ad-free plan in Australia, the US, the UK, France, Canada, Germany and more, and it's available here under the name Basic.

In such cases, it usually happens that those with expired plans can keep their current subscription for at least a few years, but they can no longer subscribe to the discontinued plans.

Netflix opted for a more aggressive tactic, simply canceling existing customers' subscriptions during July.

Because of this, if they continue to use the service, they will either switch to the cheaper version of the package in question that displays ads, or to the more expensive standard ad-free package.

For context, in the US, the basic package with ads costs $6.99, the company has asked for $9.99 for the ad-free version that just launched, and the monthly fee for the standard plan is $15.49.

The ad-based Netflix package is currently not available in our country, so its offer has not changed: the basic package costs HUF 2,490 per month, the standard package, which offers Full HD video streaming, costs HUF 3,490, and the premium package, which can stream in 4K, costs HUF 4,490.

An interesting related point is that Netflix is considering offering a free-to-air package in some European markets.
