Little Schumacher is tested in Hungaroring

With the departure of Fernando Alonso to Aston Martin at the end of the year, a vacant place in the French team has become. Among the four candidates is Dutchman Nick de Vries, who in the last race, the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, performed superbly as a substitute for Williams, clearly confirming that he would secure a place in the Formula One arena.

In addition to De Vries, Jack Doohan, Antonio Giovinazzi and Mick Schumacher could prove themselves ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix on October 2. Of the four, it is clear that the older name belongs to the latter. The son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher’s contract with Haas expires at the end of the year, as he was not under contract, so he doesn’t have many options in the King class in motorsport. The Alps would be a good solution for the German driver, the only question being whether he can prove himself in Hungary.

“At the moment, I don’t know what the future will bring,” Mick Schumacher previously said. “I’m sure I’ll share it with everyone as soon as I know.” However, I can say that I really want to stay in Formula 1. I hope to prove in the rest of the year that I am among the best.
