  • The government ordered a one-time transfer of 32 billion Hungarian forints in this year’s central budget to the Public Protection Fund, which was received by the Ministry of Energy, including the chapter “Emergency public support for industrial consumers.” The custodian of the budget, Mihaly Varga, is of course responsible for its implementation.
  • Prime Minister Petr László Szljó has appointed Head of the Government Office of Chungrad-Ksanad District, and Gábor Tanarki as Head of the Government Office of Vejer District – effective October 1 – on the recommendation of the Minister heading the Prime Minister’s Office.
  • Due to the resignation of Renata Corum, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence, the term of the Minister of National Defense will be terminated as of September 30. At the same time, Viktor Orbán appointed Andre Udvarde as Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence.
  • János Buka, the minister responsible for European Union affairs, announced that his duties in his new ministry are subject to national security oversight. Without claiming comprehensiveness, the following persons are examined: the head of the minister’s office, all members of the minister’s office, the minister’s press director, the office of state ministers, as well as political advisors.
