The former vice president summoned the 43rd president to his old home to celebrate the twelfth anniversary of the introduction of the Affordable Health Care Act. At the event, the two leaders joked about their time together under the Obama presidency. They hugged and laughed as Democrats cheered and applauded in the crowded East Hall.
Obama began jokingly by saying that “Vice President Biden” had joined him and said there had been “some changes” in the five years since he left — including the fact that Secret Service agents were “forced to wear a bird’s-eye hat” and “cat running” in the residence.
