A man robbed a Florida convenience store in Miami Gardens by placing a cardboard box over his head on Saturday afternoon.

Security footage from electronics store Irepair Tech shows the thief walking to the counter with a cardboard box on his head and stuffing several cell phones into his bag. However, the perpetrator lifts his disguise for a few seconds while searching through the devices.

The man stole a total of 19 devices and more than 2.7 million HUF in cash.

The shopkeeper, Jeremias Berganza, said that, based on the recordings, so are the surrounding shopkeepers

He gave a personal description of the robber, who was found quickly thanks to the warning, because after the robbery he was in a nearby grocery store with his friends.

The police identified and detained the offender, who was paroled on suspicion of theft.
