It motivates them
– We haven’t really competed away from home this season, but the team has come together recently, and that could be a reason for confidence. We know that by winning, we finished sixth, and that motivates everyone. Looking at the previous season, our production this year may have surprised many, but fortunately the hard work has paid off – noted István Rédei.
In the final round, DEAC put Veszprém on her shoulders in DESOK. István Rédei contributed to the 31-28 success with four hits.
– We played handball with confidence, so our victory was not in danger. At the beginning of the second half we had already led by 10 people, and then we lost our focus a bit, because of this Veszprém caught up, but in continuity we picked up the rhythm again.
Our defense worked well, and in attack we found the defenders a few times, and we also made some technical mistakes. We were glad that many people in the hall cheered us again.
Fortunately, our fans’ cheers rewarded us with a good result – our routine shooting game concluded.
