Nvidia does not charge extra for DLC.

Not many games can be classified in the premium category, but many Valve projects fall into this category. The Half-Life and Counter-Strike series need no introduction to anyone, just as the two Portal parts were hugely successful. In Portal 2 we can also enjoy a multiplayer game, the increasingly difficult levels created a lot of funny situations. Although Portal 3 is not even at the level mentioned, this does not mean that the series cannot continue to develop.

At the end of September, when revealing the RTX 40 series, Nvidia hinted that they were preparing a game called Portal with RTX. The first title will receive a fairly strong graphical improvement, an integral part of which will be support for ray tracing. It can also be considered a kind of tech demo, just like Quake II RTX.

The arrival date of the new product has been revealed!

Nvidia Tuesday Afternoon in a blog post Portal release date with RTX revealed. The downloadable content may premiere on the evening of December 8, around 19:00 Hungarian time. Best of all, it’s completely free for owners of the base game, and it won’t be coming to the Steam store as a separate title. Not to worry even if you don’t have the base game, because on December 6th, also at 7:00 PM, the company will be pulling out a ton of keys in twitch And the steam on their surfaces.

As you might expect, the requirements for the machine will not be very friendly. We’ll also need an RTX 3060 for a minimum FullHD-30FPS, and an RTX 3080 is recommended for 60fps. If we want to play the new title in 4K, it certainly wouldn’t hurt to have the RTX 4080 in our hardware.
