Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was released less than five months ago, but the number of players is rapidly decreasing.
According to a recent community survey, nearly 80% of Warzone 2 players have already given up on the game. Meanwhile, in the past few days, the news came that according to Steam statistics, there have been not a few players lately. While the highest peak in Warzone 2 history was 488,000 concurrent players, in the last 24 hours it was only 86,000. Of course, this only means Steam users, and those who love the game will play it anyway, so the title still produces extraordinary numbers. Surprisingly, however, a well-known and popular content producer is now ending the game.
Are Warzone 2.0’s biggest content creators starting to quit the game, too?
the As reported by Kotaku Aydan Conrad, who has more than three million followers on Twitch and more than a million subscribers on YouTube, has announced that he is taking a break from Warzone 2 to focus on Fortnite and possibly the Elden Ring instead.
“I feel like the game has gotten really old lately” Aidan justified his decision in the video he posted on Twitter. “There’s nothing new or exciting about it. You know, I’m a super competitive person, and that’s what I’m known for — high stakes, contests, and there’s really no such thing in Warzone 2 right now.”

“There is no new content that makes it so difficult to create YouTube videos” he added. However, Aydan doesn’t necessarily end up with the game forever. When season three comes around, he’ll try again.
Aydan isn’t the only player criticizing Warzone 2.0. Doctor Disrespect previously called it “the worst Call of Duty ever”, according to him “it’s in such a state that this game won’t last much longer”. It was in January, but with the way things have been going lately, it looks like he might have been right. Let’s just say his game isn’t very good either.
Currently, it is known that the third season of Warzone 2.0 will start around April 12th – we just have to wait for the official announcement from Activision.
