I wish Life is beyond PS and Xbox

We’ve collected all the announcements from Nintendo’s big event on June 21st into one huge collection.

The second Nintendo Direct of the year turned out to be very meaningful, as the Japanese were once again able to prove that there is a lot of life outside of Xbox and PlayStation. Nintendo has ruthlessly revealed and/or introduced many games, and quite a number of them will appear on the hybrid console already this year. There are plenty of new Marios, fun party games, exciting surprises, enhanced versions, HD versions, and hot sequels, but we can also enjoy reviving the classic Nintendo exclusive.

To save you 40 minutes of watching videos, we’ve put together a wealth of reasons why it’s worth investing in a Nintendo Switch.

Super Mario Bros. amazing

An all-new Mario 2.5Ds game with wild new mechanics, items, and characters. According to Nintendo’s promise, it will be released on October 20 this year.

Return of Detective Pikachu

The adventure of Pikachu’s private detective, originally announced in 2019, continues. However, now it’s just around the corner, and it will be released on October 9 this year.

Super Mario RPG

It was a huge and unexpected announcement that the Super Mario RPG, originally released for the SNES, is getting an overhaul, or rather a remake, for the Switch. Of course, the turn-based gameplay will remain, and plenty of familiar and iconic characters will return, but with a completely renewed look – theoretically on November 17th.

Pikmin 4

It’s nothing new, but the release of Pikmin Phase 4 on July 21 is fast approaching, so Nintendo has provided a breakdown of the promising new features. Pikmin 4 is also getting a demo that all Switch players can try out in a few days, on June 28th.
