I wish Apple is shutting down yet another iPhone service

I wish Apple is shutting down yet another iPhone service

This has not been the default for many years.

Apple has made several announcements recently. There’s a good chance they’re preparing for iOS 17 coming in September with these changes, which the public can learn about on Monday night. After increasing local prices by 30-50% for iCloud services, Apple device owners can say goodbye to another job.

The half-disappeared My Photo Stream functionality will be retired at the end of the month. With the help of the service, we were able to store 1000 photos in the cloud, which were created within the last 30 days. Synchronization between Macs and iPhones was also possible with this. Apple has replaced the option for many years, but it can still be found in users who avoid the switch and on older devices. But the giant’s patience has persisted so far.

The job is available until June 26th!

Fortunately, Apple has provided a fairly detailed description of the transition:

As part of the transition, photo uploads from your devices to My Photo Stream one month prior will stop, on June 26, 2023. Photos uploaded to the service prior to the above date will remain in iCloud for 30 days from the date of upload and will be available on all enabled devices. My photo stream is in it right now. As of July 26, 2023, photos will no longer be found in iCloud and the service will stop working.

The photos in My Photo Stream are already stored on at least one of your devices, so if you have a device that stores the originals, you won’t lose any photos in the process. If the photo you want to keep isn’t already in your library on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, remember to save it to your library on that device. later it is iCloud Photos Offers the best way to keep the photos and videos you take up to date on all your devices and stored securely in iCloud.
