Homemade Facial Masks For Common Problems

Facial masks can be pricey and so can the dermatologist. So, when skin complications arise it leaves people buying drug store skincare products that contain harsh chemicals and may actually make the problem worse. Now you can open your pantry and refrigerator and make homemade facial masks to solve your common skincare problems.

Dry Skin? Banana + Honey Mask

Dry skin is caused by soaps with harsh chemicals, extremely hot showers, and environmental factors. Don’t panic though! You can fix this with the homemade banana and honey facial mask. The banana is beneficial in preventing dry skin because the potassium hydrates your face and the Vitamin E prevents your skin from sun damage. The honey also is beneficial because of its antioxidants and sugars that moisturize and improve the skins complexion. The mix of the banana and honey will leave your face glowing and radiant.

Ingredients: 1 banana, 3 tsp. of raw organic honey

Directions: Mix the banana and honey in a small bowl. After the consistency is smooth, apply it to your face and wash it off after 30 minutes.

Dark Spots? Oatmeal + Aloe Vera Mask

Dark spots are caused by hyper-pigmentation and they can leave your face with an uneven complexion. The oatmeal
and Aloe Vera mask is the perfect way to even out your skin tone. Oatmeal has exfoliation properties which is great for fading dark spots. Aloe Vera has healing properties which reduces inflammation and effectively gets rid of dark spots. The juice from the lemon contains citric acid which brightens, lightens, and evens out the face. By mixing all three of these ingredients your dark spots will be a thing of the past.

Ingredients: 3 tbsp. of Aloe Vera gel, 3 tbsp. of oatmeal, 1 tsp. lemon

Directions: Mix the oatmeal, lemon and Aloe Vera in a small container. Once it is blended, apply it to your face for 25 minutes and then wash it off with warm water.

Acne? Egg White + Baking Soda Mask
Acne has been taking away the confidence of many people, but it is time to take that power back. With the egg white and baking soda facial mask, your face will be smooth and acne-free in no time. Egg whites contain protein vitamin A, and collagen which directly attack acne and fade acne scars. Baking soda helps combat acne with its pore cleansing properties which removes dirt and oil.

Ingredients: 3 egg whites, 2 tbsp. baking soda

Directions: Whip the egg whites first and then slowly add the baking soda into a bowl. Then, apply it evenly to your face for 20 minutes.

Oily Skin? Clay + Yogurt Mask
Oily skin is the glow that no one wants and with this clay and yogurt mask you can get the glow everyone desires. The Bentonite clay contains properties that extract impurities and dirt from the skin and gives your face a smooth texture. The yogurt is great because it contains lactic acid which nourishes the skin and leaves it radiant. With the mixture of clay and yogurt, your oily skin will be gone very quickly.

Ingredients: 2 tbsp. Bentonite clay, 2 tbsp. of unflavored yogurt

Directions: Mix the Bentonite clay and yogurt into a small bowl and stir with a plastic spoon (not metal). Apply the mixture to your face and let it dry, which should take about 15 minutes. After it has dried, wash it off with warm water.

I got rid of persistent acne with the Easyless acne plan, it’s not that hard when you think about it.
THe mistake I made was using aggressive products on my skin.
