Here’s the premiere date and first trailer for Netflix’s King Kong series
The upcoming animated series, Skull Island, will be uploaded to the red messaging service this summer.
Legendary Television has teamed up with Netflix to bring Skull Island back in June. The trailer announced the other day included the anime series’ release date, but it also finally brought its first taste of it.
It’s no secret that Legendary has been working on building a brutal world for a long time, and Skull Island is a part of that. Although the series is not considered a “must read,” it is loosely tied to the 2017 movie Kong: Skull Island.
The story of Skull Island revolves around a group of explorers who set out to rescue a woman named Annie. During the event, they visit Skull Island, home to the world’s worst monsters. Among them is the legendary gorilla, King Kong.
We have our doubts this series will be the pinnacle of cinematography, but maybe fans will be able to have a nice afternoon on premiere day. Skull Island will be added to Netflix on June 22, 2023 to be exact.
