Here's a great tablet that's also an entertainment center.

Lenovo is no unknown player in the world of tablets, and its latest solution, which debuted this summer, called the Tab Plus, is a device that, in addition to its traditional tablet functions, can also play the role of a home entertainment center.

Dimensionally, we’re talking about a device that’s 174.2mm wide, 268.3mm wide, 7.7mm at its thinnest, and 13.5mm thick, and weighs 650 grams. The aluminum-clad gray tablet is thicker on the right side (or bottom, if you prefer), in part because a small stand can be popped out of this area to rest the device comfortably on any horizontal surface.

Powering the device is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of memory and up to 256GB of storage, the latter of which can also be expanded with an SD card of up to 1TB. All this is accompanied by an 11.5-inch LCD display capable of 2K resolution (2000 x 1200 pixels), which can also be operated using a stylus (sold separately), and a keyboard can also be connected to the tablet.

In addition to the aforementioned microSD slot, the tablet has a USB-C port and a 3.5mm jack connector, and the power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the frame. The special feature is that a total of eight JBL speakers (four tweeters and four mid-range speakers) are located on the “edges” of the case, for the best possible audio experience. In addition, these accessories also support the Dolby Atmos format, which goes beyond regular stereo sound and is capable of surround sound, so users get the best possible audio experience while shooting.

At the same time, Lenovo Tab Plus can be an excellent companion not only for home cinema, since the device is designed to replace a traditional Bluetooth speaker. Thanks to the Bluetooth speaker mode, which can be called up with one movement, any player that supports BT technology can be instantly connected to the tablet, and music can be played on it at our discretion, with high quality and at the appropriate volume level. And that's not all, because the tablet also received the development of background sounds, which allows you to relax or study with ambient music or natural sounds that help you relax or concentrate. Thanks to these functions, Tab Plus is not just a tablet with all its advantages, but also a home entertainment center.

Which, thanks to its size, can be with us anywhere: at home, at work, while traveling, or even on the beach or in nature. This is also supported by the large 8600 mAh battery, which ensures that we will not have to look for the charger for a long time. And in case the device is submerged, there is no problem, as the built-in battery can be charged with a power of 45 watts via cable.

Lenovo

In addition to the above, the device has two 8MP cameras (one on the front, one on the back), supports dual-channel Wi-Fi (2.4GHz, 5GHz), and the software is Android 14 by default, with all its features. Lenovo also guarantees that the device will get Android 15 and Android 16, in addition to security updates for 4 years, until 2028.
