Halo Infinite: Nearly a hundred people are working on something in a particular Affinity location

It seems 343 Industries alone can’t take the lead in terms of Halo, which is said to be the largest to date, but hasn’t been expanded enough in terms of content since its release.

Texas-based Certain Affinity has worked on various Halo and Call of Duty games since 2007 as a supporting studio, and during the year the team announced that they had started developing Halo Infinite as well. The to VentureBeat The studio’s CEO, Max Hubermann, said the franchise is going to get “something new and big” from them, and that it’s their biggest project within the company right now…

“The most important thing we’re doing right now that’s public is we’ve been working on Halo Infinite for over two years now, and we’ve been doing something… well, it’s very mandatory. [a Microsoftnál és a 343 Industriesnél], what can we say about her. We create something unspoken and lead its development from concept and design. It’s going to be something big and new for the Halo series, but I can’t say more than that. This is the largest project we currently have out of the three projects currently running. “We have close to 100 developers working on it,” Hubermann said.

Back in January, Windows Central reported that Certain Affinity had begun developing a new Halo Infinite game mode, and it could be something completely different, or it could be an attempt at a battle royale from the Halo series. We also heard from here that Certain Affinity is also working on a Monster Hunter co-op game for Microsoft. Redmond clearly trusts the studio, which can take some of the burden off 343 Industries.

Earlier this month, we reported that Bonnie Ross, president of 343 Industries, was stepping down after fifteen years as studio head to focus on the issue of family health (and with 28 years at Microsoft, she’s quite the veteran of the company). For this reason, Microsoft slightly restructured the studio management. For this reason, former production manager Pierre Hintz became president of 343 Industries.
