Fans have responded to the game's new marketing campaign with a hot but fair video

A few days ago, we reported that CD Project RED has embarked on a new ad campaign following the return of Cyberpunk 2077 to the PS Store. Fans were largely reassured by the noisy but random campaign thrown up by in-game stats, which instantly flooded forums with memes. And now the final answer has been born in the form of a ridiculous but very correct video.

In a video posted on Reddit, not cleverly compiled, very embarrassing statistics were collected about the game CD Project, reflecting the concept of the advertising campaign. For example, it is reported that, despite promises, 0 downloads of downloadable content reached Cyberpunk in 2021, or $142 million was spent on the game’s advertising campaign, which made up 45% of the budget.

At the same time, the closing of the video had a rather positive tone, as we can read in the commentary, despite all this, fans still trusted the promises of the CD project … a more effective click.

On the other hand, it’s quite true that confidence is still alive among gamers with Cyberpunk 2077, returning to the PS Store, and instantly becoming the most downloaded game of the month. However, Sony’s warning also flourishes in the data sheet that the regular PS4 console is not recommended for anyone to try. What if there is no trust from the masses?

As the further fate of Cyberpunk 2077, the big mystery, the CD project reshapes the game’s schedule, we’ll see if they can stick to the new development stages.
