Expedited verification is possible with the completed form.

The National Police Headquarters (ORFK) wrote on the police website on Friday that waiting time for travelers from Hungary to Croatia at the border may be reduced, and recommends travelers to the neighboring country to register at the designated site for easier and faster transfers.

Filling out the form that can be filled out in addition to EnterCroatia in Hungarian is not mandatory – warns ORFK, however, they added: if someone fills it out correctly before the start of the trip, even in the day, this helps reduce waiting time and reach their destination much sooner.

Attention was drawn to the fact that passengers traveling in the same vehicle must register with the driver, along with the main passenger designated on the form, and that all of them be included in the form, as this is the only way they will have the opportunity to get a quick check. Registrants are required to prepare their necessary travel documents before crossing the border and to print a document confirming a valid registration and place it in a prominent place behind the windshield, thus assisting the police in the work.

If the situation of cross-border traffic requires it, the police of the two countries on both sides of the border will allow registrants to cross the border in separate lanes or at designated gates.

ORFK warns road users not only to be aware of the current state of the border crossing before the trip, but also to watch for signs as they approach the border. If necessary, the traffic police will help those heading to the border.

The communication also states that the cooperation between the Croatian police and the Hungarian police is very good, and if the waiting time increases, the two authorities will help the transients with more coordinated actions.
