Udvardy and Gálfi were eliminated in the doubles

In the second round, Udvardi Bana and Dalma Galvi were knocked out of the women’s doubles matches at the French Open.

Udvardy and Belgium’s Ysaline Bonaventure lost a match point at 5:4 in the second set against Chinese 11th seed Hsu Ji-fan and Yang Chao-hsüan. The Asians shortened the match, and in the last act they fell behind 3: 0, but the Udvardys gained strength again, and with two breaks they did not stop until 5: 3. Another turn followed, the Chinese took the lead 6: 5, and after the equalizer, there was another shortcut, Where Udvardys led 6-3 and then 9-8 to no avail, in the end the Asian duo could be happy, who made the tiebreaker 11-9 and thus the match that lasted three hours and 12 minutes.

Dalma Galfi and Poland’s Katarzyna Peter also lost in three sets to eighth seed Gabriela Dabrowski and Luisa Stefani from Canada and Brazil. Gálfís already led 5:3 in the final set, but the Hungarian player could not win the match. The opponent reversed and ended the match after 2 hours and 13 minutes.
