America hit Nikola Gruevski, who fled to Budapest, with sanctions

According to the statement, Grovsky has been convicted in a number of corruption cases and remains a suspect in several ongoing cases. He is accused of abuse of office, money laundering and other crimes. Earlier, it was revealed that Foreign Minister Peter Sigarteau used to receive Gruevski in his office to seek advice on matters relating to the Western Balkans.
