Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov spoke about this in an interview, referring to the fact that during Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s visit to New York, Russian journalists who wanted to cover the event were not given visas by Washington.

– said the deputy head of the ministry.
He added: The fact that their journalists are not welcome in the United States should not go unanswered under any circumstances.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov traveled to New York for the first half of the week to participate in the UN Security Council events on April 24-25. Russia currently holds the presidency of the United Nations Security Council.
In connection with the visit, it was more difficult than expected for Lavrov’s employees to obtain the necessary visas for entry, and members of the Russian media did not receive visas at all. The United States did not give reasons for the decision.
According to the Russian Foreign Minister, America is afraid. Lavrov added that Russia will not forget and will not tolerate the unpleasant incident.
