After the crisis caused by the pandemic, the Hungarian government was the first country in the European Union to offer Hungarian companies unprecedented large investment incentives to enable technology development, because we can only be contract winners in partnership with companies. Submissions may not be suspended until the end of 24 hours at the earliest if the amount of the requested grant reaches or exceeds 130% of the budget available at that point.

The objective of the tender is to increase productivity and promote technological and organizational innovation for micro, small and medium enterprises operating in the production and service sectors.

It therefore supports the technological development of business, including the development of information and communications technology and the use of business cloud services, as well as investment in infrastructure and real estate, the use of consulting and training services, and the use of renewable energy technologies.

Under the tender, enterprises can apply for support from 10 to 200 million HUF for the implementation of their projects, the conditional form of which cannot be refunded. The intensity of the aid is a maximum of 70 percent, that is, the state takes a maximum of HUF 70 from each investment of HUF 100.

Beneficiaries are micro, small and medium-sized enterprises with at least 3 employees and at least one full year of closed business.

Corporations, sole proprietorships, and sole proprietorships that do not fall within the scope of KATA may apply.

Applications are submitted in two stages. In the application stage, which opened today, companies from the regions of Southern Transdanubia, Northern Hungary, the Great Northern Plain and the Great Southern Plain can apply for the first budget of HUF 80 billion.

In the second application phase, from January 27, 2022, companies in Central Transdanubia, Western Transdanubia and pest regions will have the opportunity to apply for the remaining 20 billion HUF.
