Jan Verhas, one of the most prestigious snooker champions at the London Masters, has made a rare fatal mistake. The Dutchman, a referee in the six World Cup finals and a classic referee for the sport, returned the thrown green ball to the wrong place in the John Higgins and Zhao Xin Tong match.
