ODA Chaco Park
Czakó Kert was recently renovated and now combines several famous restaurants – to be precise, 101 Bistro, IGENT, which serves one of the best Neapolitan pizzas in the city, and Buja Dizzno, the king of fried chicken. Fewer people might know that ODA is also ideal as a brunch place: on weekdays you can choose from the à la carte menu featuring various breakfast and brunch dishes and focaccia sandwiches filled with everything good, but from time to time you can also enjoy Nóri Vidó dishes. Private champagne brunch, where you can enjoy a real lavish feast that we can be a part of.
Franziska is a haven for conscious hedonism, where we don’t have to compromise between great flavors and healthy dishes. Pancakes made with healthy ingredients will be rich in fruits, seeds and coconut yogurt, sandwiches will nourish your body with microgreens, and with special bowls you can fill your body with vitamins in a delicious way. By the way, you can find Franziska on the Buda and Pest side for some time now – in both parts of town with plush interiors!
Matilda Palace – Sunday lunch
Located in the majestic Palais Mathilde building, Café Mathilde serves a sumptuous classic breakfast experience on Sundays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. In a stunning environment, with enjoyable live music, you can enjoy the sumptuous buffet selection, from mini hamburgers to fresh bakery products and smoked salmon to the most satisfying meat and vegetarian dishes. If you come to Mathilde, it is worth planning a suitable brunch: let’s talk in the elegant space reminiscent of the last century, enjoy delicious dishes and delicious champagne, and of course leave room for dessert, which has also been given a separate table in the space! In addition, you can bring the whole family here, as they offer exciting programs and pleasant surprises for children. In December, you can also participate in festive brunches in a very special atmosphere: December. A Santa Claus brunch on the 10th and a Christmas brunch on December 25 await guests.
The little brother of Scenic Salt and Budapest salt It awaits its guests with the usual high quality at the top of a Rum hotel. As with the fine dining restaurant located at the bottom of the building, the emphasis is on fine dishes, which are regularly added with a simple twist – for example, fermented or pickled vegetables or exotic herbs, which the restaurant staff often collect and prepare themselves. Here you are guaranteed to find interesting dishes that differ from the classic brunch dishes (for example, eggs with citrus spinach and hazelnut chili), and you can also taste exquisite champagne and breakfast cocktails! It is also worth coming in the evening, when you can taste small dishes based on Hungarian traditions.
Brightly colored edible flowers, crunchy vegetables and fruits, and exciting flavors will tempt you to the artistic dishes at Horizont Café. The keyword at Horizont is sophistication – and it’s no coincidence that the menu doesn’t have a lot of items either, as they strive to make the offering really high quality and special. Among the enticing dishes, you can find great brunch classics, like avocado toast or poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, and of course the sweet pancakes and acai bowl can’t be left out. Let’s prepare our senses, because here, in addition to the flavors, it is also worth enjoying the views!
Babka Deli, located at the beginning of Pozsonyi út, has convinced the entire Újlipótváros area, so it is not surprising that Babka Deli, which operates a few meters away, is quite crowded at any time of the day – but especially in the morning. From the rich menu, you can choose sandwiches made with tender persimmons, including filling dishes such as fried chicken or a Jewish egg and goose breast sandwich, an elegant salmon dish, and a classic English breakfast, or you can create your own meze plates. If we don’t get a table, we don’t have to be sad, we can take home some of our favorite mezze from the deli so we can recreate the multicultural babka lunch experience at home.
