One of America’s most famous billionaires, Richard Branson, who also ran in the space race, bought his first private Caribbean island, Necker, from the British Virgin Islands, in 1978.

Ten separate luxury villas were erected on the idyllic island, just 3 kilometers from Necker, and the billionaire said he did not want to spoil the atmosphere of the place with a huge hotel.


The special feature of these apartments is that they are not only available to invited guests, Hollywood stars. Branson Estate is now open for reservations, and in addition to the villa, the complex includes a water sports center, beach house, pool, bar, tennis court, and several dining options.

Virgin Limited Edition also opened Point Estate and Oasis Estate in early October, two of the newest luxury villas awaiting guests. The real ultraluxus experience is measured at $17.5K, or roughly 5.5 million forints per night, but the first villa that opened earlier is still asking for $25,000 per night.
